Canucks Update : Five Straight Wins !

It wasn't to long ago I was writing of my dismal hopes for the Canucks.

But now, after five consecutive victories, I think we can say that the Canucks have turned the corner.

The breaks are starting to go their way, the pucks are finding their way into the opposing net and scoring is coming from several sources (not Naslund).

The penalty killing is now ranked second in the league, I think that's the major improvement, helped mostly by Luongo's terrific goaltending. One wonders how he can continue to play every game or for how long?

Naslund is the only Negative. What's wrong with him? In last night 2-1 shootout victory he wasn't only not shooting, he wasn't skating at all.

If he is hurting then he shouldn't be playing. Something is wrong with him, he's never played so poorly, he just doesn't have the energy he usually does. It's no wonder he isn't scoring.

The good news is that the Canucks are winning without his contribution. When he gets back to normal, look out!
